Luxury cars stolen from Vic panel beaters

Two luxury cars have been stolen from a panel beating workshop in Melbourne.

Thieves broke through the back door of the Clayton South shop sometime between January 24 and 25.

They drove away with a 1965 white Ford Mustang Fastback, and a 1999 black Chevrolet Corvette convertible.

The cars have a combined value of $120,000.

Police have released images of the stolen cars to try to track them down.

The theft occurred on the same day that a Porsche 911 Coupe, Mercedes Benz S350 and a Nissan 370Z coupe were stolen from a home in Doncaster.

Police say it is too early to determine whether the thefts were linked.
