Key facts about the Victorian bushfires

THE VICTORIAN BUSHFIRES:

WHERE

Fire crews have contained a bushfire affecting Hastings, Bittern and Crib Point.

Lightning strikes have started a number of smaller fires throughout Victoria's northwest.

A watch and act message has been issued for Edenhope, Dimboola, Wail, Pimpinio, Duchembegarra, Cherrypool, Brimpaen and Telangatuk East.

Firefighters have stopped the spread of the fire in Moyston which has burnt almost 5000ha at the foothills of the Grampians. It is now burning within containment lines.

Relief centres at Horsham and Lake Bolac Sporting Complex, but Lake Bolac was closed at 5pm on Saturday.

DAMAGE

One home confirmed destroyed, others damaged by fire.

Four sheds lost and more than 7000 hectares of land burnt out across the state.
