Kayaker found dead off Victorian beach

A kayaker has died off Torquay, a beach south of Melbourne.

The 47-year-old Winchelsea man was reported missing at 10.30am on Saturday and was found in the water at 11.30am.

Emergency services tried to revive him but he died at the scene.
