A jury in the trial of two lovers who allegedly murdered a Melbourne husband in his sleep has retired to consider its verdict.
Sofia Sam and Arun Kamalasanan are on trial in the Supreme Court, charged with murdering her husband, Sam Abraham, at the Epping family home in October 2015.
It was initially believed Mr Abraham had suffered a heart attack, but an autopsy revealed he died of cyanide poisoning and also had a sedative in his system.
