Hunt for Vic killer continues

Police are still searching for a man who fatally stabbed another man in South Melbourne.

The man in his mid-40s, was found with critical injuries to his neck, lying on a Clarendon Street footpath just after 11pm on Friday.

He was rushed to hospital but died on arrival.

After reviewing CCTV footage from a nearby bank on Saturday detectives said they were confident they would identify the attacker.

On Monday, a Victoria Police spokeswoman said police were still investigating.
