Hunt for man who slashed Melb neighbour

Victoria Police have released a computer generated image of a man who they say used a knife to slash a 30-year-old Melbourne woman.

Investigators say the blond man was yelling outside a block of flats in Port Melbourne one night in mid-October when a female resident told him to leave.

Her neighbour then also asked the man to leave and in a subsequent altercation received a slash wound to the back of her head which required hospital treatment.
