Guns stolen from Melbourne home

A safe was forced open and 11 guns stolen during a burglary of a Melbourne house.

Thieves broke into the garage of a Berwick home sometime overnight on November 21 or 22.

A large safe was forced open, and a smaller gun safe was also taken.

Ten rifles and shotguns were taken from the large safe.

Police found the safe and two of the firearms and near the house. Eight remain missing.
