Gun seized in Melbourne carjacking raid

A sawn-off shotgun, ammunition and drugs were seized in an arrest at a suburban Melbourne car park over a carjacking.
Police tasered a 34-year-old man while arresting him and two others at Broadmeadows on Tuesday and charged him with carjacking, conduct endangering a person, being a prohibited person possessing a firearm, possessing ammunition, possessing drug of dependence namely GHB and ice and was processed on outstanding warrants.
The Mernda man's charges follow a carjacking at Brunswick on September 14 where a man and woman in their 70s were attacked.
