Geelong boy hit by car does a runner

A Victorian teen who was hit by a car and then fled the scene has been found safe and well - but the car has extensive damage.

When the 15-year-old boy was stuck by the car in Geelong on Sunday night, he smashed into the windscreen, causing extensive damage to the vehicle, police say.

After the accident the boy ran away, but police found him on Wednesday and took him to hospital, where he was treated for bruising and minor injuries before being released.
