Friendly seal visits Melbourne beach

A friendly seal has swam ashore at Melbourne’s Seaford beach to pay a visit to beachgoers earlier today.

In a video taken by a bystander, the seal can be seen happily taking a dip before making itself comfortable in the sun.  

It then moves up the beach onto the sand, taking in its surroundings.  

Bystanders could be seen observing the visitor and taking photographs.
