Four teens charged over Thornbury robbery

Four teenagers have been charged after a Melbourne tobacconist was robbed by a masked gang armed with hammers and an axe in broad daylight.

A 15-year-old and three 16-year-olds have been charged with armed robbery after the attack on the Thornbury store on Tuesday.

Police said they were awaiting an out of sessions bail hearing.
