Four people arrested after crashing allegedly stolen car Melbourne’s south-east
Three cars were involved in the collision at the intersection of Riversdale and Glenferrie Roads.
Four people have been arrested after a collision involving multiple cars in Melbourne’s south-east this afternoon.
Police said they first sighted two men and two women travelling in a car being driven erratically on Heatherton Road, Dandenong about 2.35pm.
A short pursuit was initiated, then terminated as the car travelled down the Monash Freeway, before exiting at Burnley.
The allegedly stolen car then collided with two other vehicles at the intersection of Riverdale and Glenferrie Road, Hawthorn, just after 3.20pm.
The four alleged offenders were arrested with assistance from witnesses soon after.
They are yet to be charged.
No-one was injured in the collision.
Riversdale and Glenferrie Roads remain closed, and tram services on routes 70 and 75 are suspended police continue to investigate.
