Raids on eight properties across Melbourne have seen four men charged with drug offences, with more than $40,000 in cash also seized.

In addition to cash, police also allegedly found steroids, cocaine, methylamphetamine, cannabis and ammunition.

All three have been bailed and are expected to appear at the Broadmeadows Magistrates' Court on March 2, 2016.

A fourth man, a 36-year-old from Docklands, was also charged and bailed with trafficking and possessing drugs and the proceeds of crime.

He is expected to front Melbourne Magistrates' Court on the same date.
