Victorians beware: bird-swooping season is here.
Some bird species, including magpies, have started targeting people as part of their normal breeding behaviour, the Department of Environment, Land, Water and Planning warns.
Cyclists and pedestrians are advised to move quickly through areas where birds are swooping and to cover their head and eyes.
