Five escape Melbourne house fire

Just three days before Christmas five people are homeless after escaping a fire in a Melbourne house.
The blaze shot up through the centre of the Pascoe Vale South home at 4.51am on Tuesday, and it took 20 firefighters an hour to extinguish it.
The fire has left the home uninhabitable, leaving the four adults and one child looking for accommodation.
