Five arrested after crashing into police

Five people have been arrested after a car crashed into a police vehicle in Melbourne's CBD after being followed over the West Gate Bridge.

Police cars and Air Wing followed the vehicle over the bridge and into the CBD on Thursday afternoon.

The car, which was allegedly stolen, hit a police vehicle at a city intersection and officers used OC spray to subdue the occupants before they were arrested.
