Victoria's top judge and the first female Chief Justice of a Supreme Court in Australia, Marilyn Warren, has been farewelled in a ceremonial sitting on Wednesday.
Chief Justice Warren retires after serving almost 14 years on the bench as chief justice and almost 20 years on the court.
Incoming Chief Justice Anne Ferguson will be officially sworn in next month.
