Ferocious blaze destroys Dandenong home

Arson chemists will investigate the cause of a ferocious blaze that destroyed a home in Melbourne's southeast.

Emergency services were called to the Dandenong North property just before 3am after a passer-by raised the alarm.

Police are treating the fire as suspicious and no one was home at the time of the blaze.
