Fatal car crash in Victoria
AAP
Police are investigating if speed was a factor in a fatal crash north of Melbourne.
It appears the driver lost control of his car while on the Hume Freeway in Beveridge on Monday night, and travelled across the laneways before rolling and coming to rest on the centre medium strip near a power pole.
The male driver and only occupant, a Donnybrook man aged in his 70s, died at the scene.
