'Fake' gynaecologist faces more charges

A Melbourne man accused of posing as a gynaecologist and IVF expert has been charged with sexual offences.
Raffaele Di Paolo, 59, is being prosecuted by the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency for allegedly misleading patients about his expertise as a gynaecologist, obstetrician and IVF specialist while he was not a registered health practitioner.
Di Paolo's lawyer told Melbourne Magistrates Courts on Friday his client now faces sexual offence charges on top of those brought by health regulators.
