Ex-CFA boss joins Hawthorn board

The former head of Victoria's CFA, who quit rather than implement a controversial union pay deal, has joined the board of AFL club Hawthorn.
Lucinda Nolan spent 32 years with Victoria Police and then ran the CFA for less than a year before she quit when the government forced the firefighters' pay deal through.
"Lucinda is a lifelong supporter of the Hawthorn Football Club, and we are thrilled to have her on board," President Richard Garvey said on Friday.
