Ex-AFL star Stephen Milne to be sentenced over indecent assault

Ex-AFL star Stephen Milne will soon learn whether he will be convicted for indecently assaulting a woman a decade ago.
The former St Kilda forward has admitted to indecently assaulting a 19-year-old woman at a team-mate's house following a drunken night out in 2004.
The 34-year-old faces a maximum sentence of 10 years imprisonment, but Victorian County Court Judge Michael Bourke has said a fine seems the most appropriate punishment.
He will determine on Tuesday whether Milne is convicted of the crime.
Milne's agent Tom Petroro said a conviction would harm his chances of employment in football circles.
Milne will be sentenced in the Victorian County Court at 10am (AEDT).
