Ex-AFL figure's 'tell-all' book banned

Former AFL player agent Ricky Nixon has been barred from releasing a tell-all book the day before it was due to be published.

Kimberley Duthie, who posted online nude photos of several St Kilda players managed by Nixon in 2011, on Tuesday successfully sought an injunction to prevent Nixon publishing the book My Side.

Victorian Supreme Court Justice Bernard Bongiorno also prevented Nixon from publishing any material about Ms Duthie until November 24, or until further orders are made.

Nixon's website says the book is a candid story that doesn't hold anything back.

It was due to be released on Wednesday, according to the website.

On Tuesday afternoon Nixon tweeted "Bring it on bring it ON thanks for the publicity @theheraldsun Xxxxx".
