One dead, another critical in Vic crash

One person is dead and another is fighting for life after a head-on crash west of Melbourne.
Police believe two cars travelling opposite ways collided head-on at Hexham, near Mortlake, after 6pm.
The driver and sole occupant of one vehicle died at the scene while the female driver of the other car was airlifted to hospital with life-threatening injuries.
