Elderly man, 83, charged with Vic murder

An 83-year-old man has been charged with murder after an elderly woman's body was found at a home in Melbourne's north.

The 76-year-old woman's body was found at a property on Win-Malee Street at Hadfield on Thursday just before 10pm.

The man was charged with one count of murder and will appear at the Melbourne Magistrates Court on Saturday.
