Duo ram Vic police car, attempt carjacking

Two men have been arrested after allegedly ramming a Melbourne police car in one stolen vehicle before trying to hijack a second.

The pair, aged 26 and 25, were spotted by officers in the allegedly stolen car in the city's southeast just before midday on Friday before they were intercepted in Dandenong.

During the pursuit, they rammed a police car at a shopping centre, abandoned the vehicle and attempted to hijack another car on the Princes Highway before being arrested.
