Drunk-driver mounts curb in Melbourne

A drunk-driver has mounted a footpath, driven on the wrong side of the road and fallen asleep at the wheel in Melbourne's inner west

Multiple calls were made to triple zero after a car was seen driving erratically in West Footscray on Warleigh Rd and Barkly St on Sunday night.

Police say a 43-year-old Tarneit man blew .201, four times the legal limit, and he's been charged and will appear in the Melbourne Magistrates' Court at later date.
