Driver with kids tests positive for meth

A woman has been allegedly caught speeding while under the influence of methamphetamine with two children in her car in regional Victoria.

The woman tested positive to methamphetamine following a traffic stop in Mildura on Sunday morning with a baby and an older child on board, police say.

The woman was released pending further analysis.

Meanwhile, police say one-in-14 drivers allegedly tested positive to drugs in a two-day operation on one street in Dallas, in Melbourne's north, over the weekend.

Of the 18 drivers detected, four had no valid licence.
