Driver speeds through school zone

A woman who was allegedly over the legal alcohol limit has been caught speeding through a school zone in Melbourne, just as school was finishing up for the day.

The 46-year-old woman was clocked at 53km/h over the speed limit and blew 0.093 in Baxter on Tuesday afternoon, police said.

Her car has been impounded for 30 days and she will front court at a later date.
