A driver is on the run following a hit-run crash on a Melbourne freeway.
Police say a Holden was travelling at 155 km/h in a 60 km/h zone on the Princes Freeway, Laverton, about 7.20am when it hit a vehicle but failed to stop.
It sparked a police chase, but the driver continued speeding and crashed into a fence after exiting the freeway.
