Driver dead, passenger hurt in Vic crash

A driver is dead and one of his passengers has been injured after a car lost control and flipped in Victoria.

The man behind the wheel died at the scene while the injured passenger received minor injuries and was taken to hospital after the crash at Smythesdale just before 4am on Friday.

A second passenger was not injured.
