A driver is dead after their car collided with a truck in Melbourne's southeast.
The car was travelling on Koo Wee Rup road in Pakenham South at around 7.30am this morning when it collided with the truck coming from the opposite direction, police say.

The truck caught fire but the two men in it escaped without injury.
Police are investigating the crash.
