Driver crashes car through Mcdonald’s in Melbourne

A woman has crashed her car through the window of a Mcdonald’s restaurant in Campbellfield, north of Melbourne’s CBD, last night.

Emergency services responded to calls about the accident at the fast food restaurant on the Hume Highway around 11.30pm.

Authorities were told the driver, believed to be in her 40s, had lost control of her Toyota RAV4 and driven through the window into the dining area.

No one was injured.

Investigations into the circumstances surrounding the crash are ongoing.
