Dog squad tracks injured Melbourne hoons

The dog squad has tracked down three injured hoons who did a runner after crashing their car into a power pole while evading police in Melbourne.

Police tried to stop a car that was speeding through Springvale on Tuesday night but it sped away and a short time later crashed, destroying the car and the injured men ran off.

The dog squad tracked the men who were arrested and taken to hospital, and police say it was amazing they were not more seriously injured.
