A teenager charged with raping and murdering Melbourne comedian Eurydice Dixon has briefly faced a court via video link as the case against him proceeds.
Jaymes Todd, 19, appeared on screen in Melbourne Magistrates Court on Tuesday, when his lawyer asked for an adjournment to allow for more time to consult with the alleged killer.
Last week, the court was told Todd was facing an extra three charges including attempted rape and two counts of intentionally touching in a sexual manner.

Todd is due to reappear before the court on November 8, with magistrate Suzanne Cameron adding the parties should then have a clearer picture of how the case will proceed.
