Divers look for 4th Vic plane crash victim

Improved weather conditions will help police divers in their efforts to recover a body thought to be trapped in the fuselage of a plane that crashed into Bass Strait, killing everyone on board.

Three bodies have been recovered after the plane carrying four people crashed off the coast near Geelong on January 29, but the fourth is still missing.

Poor weather has prevented police divers from reaching the sea floor to search the wreckage of the small plane, but it's hoped clear conditions this weekend will help recovery efforts.

A boat carrying diving equipment is travelling to the crash site on Saturday.

Divers are expected to make their way down to the wreckage on Sunday.
