Couple pledges $3.5m to Vic State Library

Investors Paul Little and Jane Hansen have donated $3.5 million to the costly upgrade of Victoria's State Library.

The husband-and-wife philanthropists made the pledge through their Hansen Little Foundation which will go to the creation of the 'Hansen Hall' and a new conversation quarter.

The state government has poured more than $60 million into the redevelopment, which has a total budget of $88.1 million and is expected to be completed in 2020.
