Conman caught ripping off Victorians

Melburnians have been ripped off by a con-man who left them with unfinished work after they had already paid him.

The 36-year-old man from Lara allegedly used fake aliases across a number of years to deceive people into allowing him to do start work for them.

He has been charged in relation to dishonesty and deception offences and will appear at the Heidelberg Magistrates' Court on Thursday.
