Cluttered house damaged in Vic blaze

A cluttered home belonging to two elderly hoarders has been significantly damaged in a Melbourne fire.

A man and woman managed to evacuate their Endeavour Hills home and the man, in his 70s, was taken to hospital and treated for smoke inhalation after the blaze, which started shortly before 2am on Wednesday.

Local council officers and fire investigators will inspect the home but it's believed an electrical fault may have caused the fire that engulfed the entire house.
