An inquest into the death of a baby girl will hear evidence from the babysitter cleared of killing her.

Chloe Murphy died of head injuries in December 2010, two days after she was dropped off at the Kensington home of babysitter Ketapat Jenkins.

She had undergone emergency surgery after being rushed to the Royal Children's Hospital with a fractured skull and arm.

A jury found Jenkins not guilty of child homicide in March 2014.

Victorian Coroner Jacqui Hawkins will hold a five-day inquest into Chloe's death.
