Chickens saved in Vic shed fire

A hutch of chickens has narrowly missed being roasted after a large shed fire in Victoria.
The shed in Drysdale, near Geelong, went up in flames on Thursday morning, blanketing the nearby town in heavy toxic smoke, the Country Fire Authority says.
Firefighters rescued a number of chickens from a hutch adjoining the burning building and residents are being advised to keep windows closed to avoid smoke inhalation.
