Charges laid after man shot and seriously injured in Shepparton
Charges have been laid after a 27-year-old man was shot and seriously injured in a northern Victorian town over the weekend.
The man is in a serious but stable condition in hospital, after he was allegedly shot on Sunday morning by a 24-year-old man on Vaughan Street in Shepparton.
The alleged shooter has been charged with intentionally and recklessly causing serious injury, reckless conduct endangering death or serious injury, and being a prohibited person using a firearm.
He is scheduled to appear in the Wodonga Magistrates Court on Tuesday.
A 23-year-old man has also been arrested and is assisting police with their investigation.
