Car ploughs into Melbourne dental surgery

A car has ploughed into a Melbourne dental surgery, leaving a woman with possible spinal injuries.

An elderly woman was driving the vehicle which crashed into the Mooroolbark building on Tuesday afternoon.

A woman inside the office was taken to hospital with possible spinal injuries, but was otherwise in a stable condition, an Ambulance Victoria spokeswoman said.

The woman driving the car was not injured.
