Emergency services have recovered a car that was driven into Melbourne's Yarra River overnight.
The car, being driven by a woman, went into the Yarra near the Swan St bridge around 11pm on Monday.

She was driving along Batman Avenue heading toward the city when her car left the road and into the river.
The current swept along the river and the car quickly sank.
The woman could not be saved.
Police are not treating the incident as suspicious.
