Canberra man charged with Vic child abuse

A man has been extradited from Canberra to Melbourne to face historical indecent assault charges dating back to the 1970s.
Robert Morris, from Evatt, is alleged to have indecently assaulted boys aged between nine and 12 years at schools in Cranbourne and Ringwood East between 1971 and 1975.
The 70-year-old was charged with 20 counts of indecent assault before facing the Melbourne Magistrates' Court on Friday when he was bailed to appear on October 8.
