Missing Vic bushwalker found

A bushwalker missing from a Victorian Buddhist retreat for five days has been found safe and well.
Police found Dutch national Veronique Biunkens, 41, near a creek in bushland at W Tree on Tuesday afternoon after she was reported missing on Monday night.
She was staying at the Sakya International Buddhist Academy, near Buchan, when she went for a bushwalk alone on Thursday last week and didn't return.

A Victoria Police spokeswoman said police were trying to establish why she was only reported missing on January 11, despite being missing for five days.
The retreat was contacted by AAP but would not comment on the missing woman.
