A bushfire is burning in Victoria's east after a private burn-off became out of control in warm and windy conditions.
The blaze is burning at Buchan South in the state's Gippsland region and nearby residents are being urged to leave their properties as conditions could change quickly.
The fire began on Saturday afternoon and a watch and act alert was issued by authorities about 8.30pm.

A CFA spokesman said the fire was not large, at about 100 hectares, but was burning in difficult terrain.
More than a dozen tankers were battling the blaze on Saturday night and a water-bombing aircraft will start work on it on Sunday morning.
