Burst water main opens up Melb sinkhole

A sinkhole that closed three lanes on a busy Melbourne road has almost been fixed.

A burst water main opened up the sinkhole on Glen Eira Road, Caulfield North at 2.18am on Tuesday.

A spokesperson for South East Water says crews are making good progress and expect the road to be reopened by 6pm.
