Tyre smashes through Bendigo pub narrowly missing staff and patrons
Hospitality workers and patrons in Victoria's west has had a close call after tyre came flying off a four-wheel-drive and flew through the venue.
Staff at the Bendigo pub thought they were dreaming when the massive wheel rolled into the building during a shift about 10pm on Friday.
The tyre came loose along on High Street, before it bounced through a narrow opening at the pub door and soared into the air, taking out a pot plant and a biscuit jar.

Thankfully it narrowly avoided staff and patrons and nobody was injured.
There was minimal damage to the front door handle, flooring and bar taps and no major structural damage.
The driver was also unharmed in the freak accident.
