Body found in search for Vic kayaker

A body believed to be that of a missing kayaker has been found in Victoria's northeast.

The 74-year-old Nagambie man disappeared after his kayak overturned on the Mitta River at Tallangatta about 1.30pm on Friday.

He was seen swimming to shore before going under.

Police divers found the body about 3pm on Saturday.
